Connecting Your Custom CRM

Step-by-step tutorial for sending Anakin leads and bookings into the CRM your team already uses.

Connecting to a Custom CRM

Anakin's built-in Lead Dashboard is great for small teams, but many businesses want qualified conversations flowing into the CRM they already use. This tutorial shows the practical setup path without exposing unnecessary engineering details.

Step 1: Choose Where Leads Should Go

1. Navigate to Settings -> Integrations in your workspace.

2. Choose your CRM or automation destination.

3. Select the updates you want to send:

  • New lead captured
  • Lead status changed
  • Booking created

Step 2: Map Your Fields

Decide which Anakin fields should appear in your CRM. Most teams start with:

| Anakin Field | CRM Field |

|--------------|-----------|

| Lead name | Contact name |

| Email | Email |

| Phone | Phone |

| Company | Company |

| Interest | Deal notes or lead source |

| Agent | Owner, team, or source |

Step 3: Add a Safety Check

Before sending live leads, use a test contact and confirm that your CRM receives the right values in the right fields. If your team has an operations owner, ask them to review the connection before launch.

Step 4: Enable Automations

1. Go to Lead Configuration in your agent settings.

2. Toggle Send new leads to CRM to ON.

3. Optional: enable Send booking confirmations for scheduler events.

Popular CRM Integrations

| CRM | Recommended Setup | Notes |

|-----|-------------------|-------|

| HubSpot | Contact + Deal | Map interest to a deal note or pipeline field |

| Salesforce | Lead | Assign ownership by agent or campaign |

| Pipedrive | Person + Deal | Create the person first, then attach the deal |

| Google Sheets | New Row | Useful for lightweight reporting |

Testing Your Integration

1. Click Send Test Lead in integration settings.

2. Confirm the lead appears in your CRM.

3. Check field mapping, ownership, and source labels.

4. Enable auto-sending once the test looks right.
